Philosophy

Everyone longs to be surrounded by beauty, and good design can reflect that without being expensive. My first inclination is to work with what already exists and see if interiors can reflect the stories from your experience, culture, and natural environment.

When sourcing furnishings, I’m curious about where things are made, and who made them. I take into consideration the heritage behind the craft, the materials and their impact on our environment, the crafters and their ability to make a living wage. It is with this thoughtfulness that interiors are created and curated to represent the way you live.

About

As a residential interior designer, my practice draws on 20+ years of experience at Boeing managing aviation interior projects with a focus on private aircraft. In addition to sourcing makers of specialty materials, I’ve been fortunate to travel and work with renowned interior designers all over the world.

Throughout my travels, I’ve collected textiles and have been inspired to take up weaving fine linen art pieces and practice Chinese calligraphy with sumi ink. I’m drawn to the concept of wabi sabi, the humble beauty of imperfection and natural elements.

I find joy in discovering the artifacts that my clients have collected, inherited, or created and how a space can be created to reflect their unique story and way of living.
